Bianca Caryl has been
teaching dance in Ahwatukee and the East Valley for over 17 years. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Dance
(with a minor in American History) as well as a Masters of Education Degree (Secondary Curriculum and
Instruction) from Arizona State University. In 1994, she was named the Outstanding BA Graduate of her class
by ASU Dance Faculty. Her experience includes: national award-winning teacher and choreographer for dance
studios and high schools throughout the East Valley, teacher of Parks and Recreation Dance programs in Phoenix
and Casa Grande, head coach and choreographer of the Corona del Sol Varsity Pom Line, and principal stage
dancer in the Super Bowl XXX Half-time Show starring Diana Ross. She was also 2008 recepient of the Tempe
Union High School District Governing Board award of excellence for teaching.
Bianca is the Desert Vista High School Dance Company Director and has been teaching dance at DVHS for over 10 years. Her hard work at Desert Vista has helped establish a reputation one of the largest and most prestigious high school dance programs in the state of Arizona. Throughout her years of experience, Bianca’s proudest achievement has been seeing many of her students go on to pursue higher education and careers in dance. She is extremely proud to have mentored so many of the teachers who are employed at dance studios and high schools throughout the Valley (and even here at Center Pointe).
