About Us

Established in 2003, Center Pointe Dance is now owned and operated by Bianca Caryl. In January 2009, Bianca brought her seventeen years of professional dance experience to Center Pointe Dance, where her daughters have danced for several years. Her family oriented, technique based philosophy has been a proven formula at Desert Vista High School, where she has served as director for over ten years. Since January 2009, she has grown the studio by over 30% and brought in the best teachers and staff that echo her proven dance formula.

Teaching Philosphy

The staff at Center Pointe Dance is devoted to teaching proper injury prevention methods as well as age appropriate dance technique and choreography, in order to respectfully acknowledge the historical roots of dance while also preserving dance and sharing it as an art form.

Community Outreach Performances

As part of Bianca's community focus and she encourages the kids to give back. Each year, Center Pointe Dance spends countless hours teamed with the Ahwatukee Kiwanis Club Easter Parade and Spring Fling for the Easter Parade.

Every winter, Center Pointe hosts "Holly Day", a Dance Performance that raises money for various charities and organizations. Last year raising and donating $2,400 to the American Cancer Society and Hospice of the Valley in memory of her father, Thomas Parrish, a long time Ahwatukee resident.

Other community service projects Center Pointe Dance has participated in this school year include a Back to School Supply Drive (sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Ahwatukee), a Diaper Drive to support the Phoenix Children’s Project and the Holly Day Benefit Show in December.

The Center Pointe Dance Company performs at various events throughout the year including community arts festivals, local dance celebrations, Phoenix Suns and Mercury games and of course, national dance competitions.

Center Pointe Dance has a robust and successful competition team who recently returned from the Kid's Artistic Review National competition in Las Vegas Nevada with numerous top scoring routines. Altogether our dancers took home over 30 top awards and cash prizes totaling more than $2,200. During the week of competitions our older kids treated the parents to a "parents night out in Vegas" by babysitting the younger kids. Great fun for all! The Center Pointe pool party at the MGM Grand was another all day, big fun event for the entire team. ~ thanks to all our wonderful parents and kids.

Our Dance Facility

We recently out grew our old facility and acquired a new, larger facility on the corner of Warner and 48th Street, next to Basha's and Chuck E. Cheese. This new facility is 25% larger and features two full size dance studios, two smaller studios for tots and private lessons as well as the ability to super size our main rooms with a collapsible wall. All spaces include professionally sprung dance floors, full-mirrored walls, mounted and freestanding ballet bars, state-of-the-art music systems and marley floor.

In addition to the shopping and food vendors in our plaza, we also have a parents room for moms to talk and toys for the younger kids to play. Our homework area is a great place for kids to finish up school work while waiting for their next class. Our staff includes: a school nurse and an ASU honors college math tutor, who are on site and help with everything from homework, to dinner and, of course ~ hair.
